Venice beach is one of my favorite place to go. I haven’t been once this summer. I NEED TO GO.

Today at work a sweet couple said that I had a warm smile and that it looked like I loved what I did. 

A comment like that seriously sticks with me for the rest of the day. Just one tiny slice of encouragement serves to be an immediate day brightener.

Future self, you know exactly how it feels to be on the other side of the counter. Whether you’re at Target, Forever 21, or a Starbucks, make it a point to encourage and really express gratefulness. 

One conversation, one phrase, or one word can really make a difference in someone’s day.
